This week's contest is tough. I'm loving the chair design. 

I'm really diggin learning how to do fabric design. It's addicting. I have such a huge learning curve to overcome that it takes me forever. I suppose it'll get quicker over time. I may just have to take a class at my alma mater. 

Hope everyone's having a holiday season so far. Just 10 more days...

Any ideas for a 5 and a half year old? So far she's getting from us and Grandparents:

• A marble run
  
• Lincoln Logs
  
• How to Draw books
  
• New Playdoh and some accessories
• A toy train
• She asked for another set of cardboard building blocks so she can make bigger structures. We bought the set she has when she was 2 and it has been one of the most played with toys she has. 

This is probably plenty but I would like to hear other suggestions. What do you think?

Fa la la la la la. la. la. .

This is such a strange time. I'm not working on any sewing or art or dolls or anything creative. I've been putting all of my energy into my little bean. She is maturing so fast. She's starting to take upon herself responsibilities in the house. If she sees that something needs to be done she does it. It makes a Mama proud.

I think I'll go watch her sleep for a while.
