I was going to do a tutorial post on how to make a purse organizer but there are other great ones out and about so why reinvent the wheel? I dumped my purse on the table to figure out how big each pocket should be. I remember seeing something on some morning talk show equating the contents of one's purse with personality types. My purse contains the following:
- notepad
- wallet
- phone
- gum
- hand sanitizer
- 2 pens
- 4 crayons
- sunglasses
- one mini box of raisins
- one penny
- 2 lip-glosses
- one tube hand cream
- 3 barrettes
- keys
- 4 chocolate kisses
What does that say about me?
Last night I was craving cinnamon buns. I usually make the pre-made ones that come in a tube. I didn't have any pre-made tube kind nor any yeast (or the patience) to make from scratch. I do have some frozen bread dough in the freezer and thought that should work. It worked out just fine. Just as easy as making the instant tube kind and much much cheaper. yum.
We got 3 more White Cloud Mountain Minnows and one Amano Shrimp. The shrimp is so fun to watch although I was a little freaked out to read that some shrimp can get out of an uncovered tank. Our tank is covered but there is one small area where the filter is that is not. I don't think Amano Shrimp get out. They don't, right?
right? (she says weakly.)
Shrimpy gave me a bit of a start this morning. He was swimming about when I went up to get Tootie but when I came down he was dead in the gravel. Poor little guy. I called H and told him the bad news. We were both disappointed. Shrimpy was so fun to watch. After our 2 minute grieving period we decided it best to just move forward. Toots got out the food and we fed our little 6 minnow school. Out in a flash came Shrimpy! I had no idea that they shed their exoskeleton. duh. Of course they do. I called H back.
But now? I have a shrimp exoskeleton at the bottom of the tank. ew
