I'm alive.

I want to thank everyone for your kind comments about my dog, Kurgan. Each one definitely comforted me knowing others out there understood what it was like.

So much time has gone by that I don't know where to begin. Here's a short list:

1. Fish! Fish are the answer to our new pet void! I googled types of fish. I learned which are best for beginning a tank, the difference between a community or single species tank and fish per gallon ratios*. I read so much about fish that I began seeing people as various kinds of fish.  Charlotte is like a danio. She prefers others of her kind and likes to hide in the plants. Pete? Pete is like a betta - colorful and flashy. He tolerates others but is aggressive towards those that are too much like him. That line of commentary is what has gone through my mind when speaking to people all week.


2. We are now the proud owners of 3 White Cloud Mountain Minnows who are named Fishy, Fish and Fish respectively.


3. Today I successfully managed to buy a couple Christmas presents for Tootie while she was in the shopping cart. 2 were under the rouse that I was buying them for her cousins. We only have one more thing to pick up.
