Here's my Month of Softies submission for October. I'm not really a monster or ghoul type gal but thought I could contribute something cute yet macabre. The purse isn't very practical. Her body isn't big and deep enough to hold anything but the head wallet. Maybe I'll make a more functional one...
My favorite part and inspiration for the purse was the red rickrack. I found it in my stash and thought "hey, that would make a great vein or intestine". This is how my mind works.

That is cute and cool at the same time. Me like. And I love the vein. You so need a red hanky in there for blood.
oh hey, there is a place in clintonville that you should check out. it's called "wholly craft" and it looks like it sells local craftsy stuff, like the kind you make. not 'cement goose' craftsy, but rather much more like your jane purse. i bet you could sell your stuff there!
